HDSB hosts Director’s Panel virtual session on StrengtheningSchools Through Kindness Connection and Community on April 7
Families, students, staff and community members are invited to attend an upcoming
session as part of the Director’s Panel Series. Each session in this series explores issues and themes impacting students and education today. Sessions are led by Director of Education Curtis Ennis and Human Rights & Equity Advisor Pardeep Nagra. Panelists featured in the Director’s Panel series may also include HDSB students, parents/guardians and subject-matter experts.
The upcoming session in the series will be:
Strengthening Schools Through Kindness, Connection and Community
Monday, April 7 from 6 - 7 p.m.
This will be a virtual event with the livestream linked on the HDSB website (hdsb.ca).
Registration is not required.
Strengthening Schools Through Kindness, Connection and Community will explore the HDSB’s commitment to Kindness, Connection and Community, as outlined in the 2024-2028 Multi-Year Strategic Plan, and how it is being brought to life in schools and workspaces through meaningful actions. Panelists will discuss how centering a culture of kindness in learning and working environments supports student and staff success and well-being, creating a genuine sense of belonging and the conditions for students to thrive.
Friendship Dance - APRIL 16, 2025
On Thursday, February 13th the ICPS School Council will be hosting a 'Friendship' Danceathon for all ages (during the day) in the school gym. The Danceathon is a fundraising event to raise money for upcoming school equipment/grounds uplifts and school activities. Some of these items can be (but not limited to): new laptops, art equipment, gym equipment, uplifting school grounds, Grade 8 Grad, Fun Fair, etc.

HDSB Mental Health and Well-Being Information Sessions
The HDSB has announced additional Mental Health & Well-Being Information Sessions for parents/guardians this Winter and Spring. Each session will be led by a mental health expert in that area who will share their knowledge and provide helpful information and resources. The upcoming sessions include:

Join us as we discuss how this plan will be brought to life inside and outside classrooms to support the achievement and well-being of all and guide students toward a bright and successful future.
